Your Front-Row Pass: Watching the 2025 Honda Celebration of Light aboard our Private Yacht

Few summer experiences rival seeing the Honda Celebration of Light paint Vancouver’s sky while waves lap gently against your own chartered yacht. Below is everything you need to know, including dates, on-shore festivities, and exactly what happens when you step aboard aboard our yacht charter for the most exclusive seat in English Bay.

Why Choose a Private Yacht?

  • Unobstructed 360° Views – No beach crowds, no heads in front of your lens, just open water and skyline.

  • Premium Comfort – Padded seating, fireplace to warm you up, and private washroom are a huge upgrade over a picnic blanket.

  • Stress-Free Logistics – Skip road closures and packed buses that affect 300k+ attendees each night.

  • Curated Service – Our crew handles navigation, safety, and catering so you can focus on the show.

What to Expect With our Yacht Charter

1. Seamless Boarding

  • Where: False Creek Marina (750 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver)

  • When: 8:00 PM check-in; we cast off by 8:30 PM to beat harbour traffic and secure a prime anchorage inside the approved spectator zone.

2. Sunset Cruise & Apéritifs

Cruise past Vancouver’s skyline and under Cambie, Granville and Burrard Bridges while enjoying a welcome glass of bubbly. Soft drinks, and infused waters are included. (Catering and Full bar upgrade available.)

3. VIP Viewing Station

  • Anchor Drop: ~9:15 PM off English Bay, inside the Coast Guard-approved “Spectator Float” area—perfect sight-lines for the 9:50 PM drone display, and 10:00 PM fireworks

  • Bluetooth speakers stream the official music simulcast (104.3 The Breeze)

4. Post-Show Return

Fireworks end ~10:25 PM; expect to be back at the dock between 11:15–11:30 PM, ahead of most road re-openings.
